Automatically Find Lower Prices As You Shop Online

Thinking of post Christmas sales already? Shame on you ;-) There are hundreds of price comparison websites that may help you find a specific product at a lower price but it’s a pain to have to browse to them, type in the product you want to get a price comparison on – and then do the same thing at a couple more sites in case they have a different selection of shops available…

How much easier to use a simple add-on in your web browser which automatically notifies you if the product you are viewing is available at a lower price from another retailer – or if there are coupons available from the retailer you are shopping on?

Step forward, PriceBlink – does exactly that… PriceBlink is a coupon and price comparison website which offers an integrated web browser add-on. The add-on is available for Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari web browsers – for Windows or Mac systems.

Note: Comparisons are available for US and UK retailers ONLY – other countries may be added in future.

  • Instant Price Comparison: PriceBlink automatically lets you know if you’ve found the lowest price on a product or whether it can be found for less at another retailer – it checks more than 4,000 merchants for lower prices.
  • Shipping Charges: It displays shipping costs along with price comparison results, the first add-on of its kind to do so.
  • Coupons: PriceBlink also alerts you to money-saving coupons and free shipping codes for the site that you are on.

To see the PriceBlink add-on in action, check out the demo video below:

Conclusion

The reviews for each add-on speak for themselves: Firefox add-on reviews – average of 4 stars out of 5 and Google Chrome add-on reviews – average of 4.4 stars out of 5. PriceBlink is for US and UK shoppers only for the moment but it has already gained excellent reviews and, according to the reviewers, saved people money – in these tough times, the more the merrier!

The add-on for your browser can be downloaded from the official site here.

  1. This is a very good idea,it is a shame nobody else has thought of it.

Please let me know when the UK version will be available.

    Regards

    • It is a shame it’s US only at the moment – they say they are considering other markets but are concentrating on perfecting the US first.

Best hope may be that another company sees the potential and starts working on a UK version, it could certainly benefit from one.
