The Windows 7 Power Users Guide eBook is for people of all technical ability from complete novices to IT Professionals. Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional) Mike Halsey has just released it as a PDF file – for free download!
In the first day of it’s release as a free eBook, it received more than half a million hits – deservedly so in our opinion. It currently enjoys a reader review rating of 4.4 out of 5 stars.
The book contains 16 chapters and is a guide on how to get the very best out of Windows 7 from installation to configuration to using and advanced operations.
It includes step-by-step guides, screenshots and diagrams on every page, quick tips throughout the book and is presented in full color. Having browsed through the book it really is a great guide to Windows 7 and is not just for ‘power users’ – in our opinion it is equally, or perhaps even more, suitable for beginners and people just wanting to find out more about how to best use Windows 7.
The book is in PDF format and can be downloaded totally free – just click the Add to Basket link on the website here to add it to your shopping cart. You do have to sign up to Lulu to download the book as a PDF file but you’re not charged and I guess you could make up a name and/or use a disposable email address if you wish to remain anonymous.
Tip: If you’re still using Vista a similar guide for Vista from the same author is also available for free download at the same website here.
